This family run business takes its name from the current owners grandfather whose nickname was Shoufas, a Cypriot word for a hawk as he was the watchman for the vines around the Kilinia village, east of the Troodos mountains.
Originally produced for home consumption, the vineyards has been handed down through the generations and expanded until it was taken over by two brothers in the family and the winery was developed using the latest technology and processes before starting to trade commercially in 2000.
