Established in 1990 by Theodoros Fikardos, the winery was one of the first privately owned in Cyprus and its wines are considered among the best on the island.

Theodoros began making wine for family and friends but as demand grew, production had to increase to keep up the supply.

Fikardos works with international varieties but puts a strong emphasis on indigenous varieties, believing them to be a true Cypriot signature.

They have their own vineyards in Pano Arodes and Choulou villages cultivate the Cypriot varieties Gannoudi, Maratheftiko and Xinisteri.
